Niveus launches patent-pending Niveus ConvergencePanel™ creating the first Media Center PC with an installer-friendly A/V style rear panel for easy integration into home theater environments.

Announced patent-pending Network Virtualization Technology, enabling a Niveus Disc Changer to appear as a network storage device allowing DVDs to be played across the home network on Niveus Media Servers.
First to announce plans to launch CableCARD with Windows Vista at the 2006 Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC).
Niveus receives funding from Intel Capital and Gayle Sanders, founder of MartinLogan, and influential innovator in the high fidelity audio market.

Announces most ambitious software product to date; Niveus Movie Library aggregates an entire movie collection into one distinct and intelligent interface.
At CEDIA Expo 2008, Niveus becomes the first to demonstrate and announce support for up to eight digital cable (CableCARD) tuners and ten Media Center Extenders powered by a single Niveus Media Server.
2009
Software development team expands and launches Niveus Movie Library 2.0 for Windows 7 customers, boasting faster performance for large movie collections and adding hi-resolution background art.
Launches Niveus Sirius Radio application for Windows 7, becoming the first to offer more than 120 channels of Premium SIRIUS Internet Radio integrated with Windows Media Center.
2010
Niveus offers technology preview of Project Snowbird at 2010 NAB Show in Las Vegas, demonstrating a powerful new media distribution platform enabling the secure streaming and file transfer of protected television shows and movies from the set-top box to popular consumer electronics such as the PC, Mac and Mobile Devices.
Niveus creates a new media server reference design for the digital signage market and completes its first video wall retail project.
